Silent Disco is a desktop application that processes video files locally on your machine. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about how our application handles your data.

Data Collection

Silent Disco does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The application:

• Does not collect usage statistics
• Does not track user behavior
• Does not store any information about processed files

File Access

Silent Disco requires access to:

• Files that you explicitly choose to process
• Directories where you choose to save processed files

This access is managed through macOS's built-in security and permissions system. You will be prompted by macOS to grant these permissions when necessary.

Data Processing

All video processing occurs locally on your computer. When you use Silent Disco:

• Video files are processed entirely on your local machine
• No content is uploaded to any servers
• No temporary files are retained after processing is complete

macOS Sandbox

Silent Disco operates within Apple's sandbox environment, which provides additional security by limiting the application's access to system resources. The application can only access files and directories that you explicitly authorize.

Third-Party Services

Silent Disco does not integrate with any third-party services or libraries that could collect user data.
